Responsibilities：
- Fundamental research of China oil complex
o Updating China oils balance sheets by gathering and consolidating data and information internally and externally
o Communicate to global and China team on the changes, flags, and reasons
o Collaborate with marketing and trading team on data collection and information sharing
o Build and maintain external relationships to know market information and bias
- Oil research data management and modeling
o Together with data science team, manage (collect, clean, store, and document) data related to China oil research
o Research on SnD variables and build models on demand, order-flow, and prices
- Price and order-flow analytics in China oils market
o Study factors that influences order-flows
o Provide price insights from fundamental perspectives of China and world oil b/s
o Actively participate in trading and crush management discussions
- Continuous improvement on overall research methods and communication

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS REQUIRED
Minimum Competencies/Skills:
- Solid understanding of agriculture overall and veg oil markets
- Analytical and logical mindset; critical thinking and problem solving; attention to details
- Strong communication skills, and teamworking spirit
- Good at time management, ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- Fluent in English
- Programming Skills: Basic proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or R
- SQL Skills: capable of querying data using SQL to manage and analyze datasets effectively
- Data Visualization: Ability to create clear and informative visualizations using tools like Seaborn, Plotly, or similar.
Highly Desirable Additional Skills:
- Statistical Knowledge: A solid understanding of basic statistical concepts and methods
- Regression Analysis: Understanding of regression analysis techniques
- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git, which are important for collaborative work and maintaining code integrity.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- More than 3 years’ working experience in agriculture commodity research, highly prefer to have direct experience in veg oils with proven track record
