Translating from English into target languages
Technical writing or re-writing content as necessary
Linguistic testing on terminal products
Research and update language assets like Style Guide and Terminology
Cultural adaptation and localization
Conducting peer comparative analysis on terminal products, extract and share valuable points to help improve on Honor’s products
Requirements:
Native speakers of the target languages
Native-level mastery of English, Chinese proficiency preferred
Intuitive understanding of how information should be presented and structured
Degree in translation, language studies, computer science or related fields
Three to five years’ experience in translation using CAT tools, writing, editing, localization
Experience in ICT products preferred
Empathetic, able to imagine user perspectives
Flexible problem solver who approaches issues from many angles
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
